Convinced that the note is from her husband, she sends an anonymous card to Sam who thinks it's from another woman.
When Sam hides the card from Alice, she decides to test her husband's faithfulness by pretending to be a secret admirer. What starts off as a silly prank escalates into phone sex, secret anonymous meetings and ultimately the revelation that her husband has a mistress. Archie is caught in the middle of this romantic and bittersweet comedy that exposes the truth about love.
