Junich Sugita (Hiroaki Murakami) is an arrogant Japanese businessman who wants to convert a dying steel mill in Corinth into an amusement park. His dead body is found beaten to death in the mill itself. Barry Mikowski (Jeff Fahey) is a worker who had gone unemployed due to closer of the mill. He surrenders in front of the police saying he killed Junich in self-defence as Junich attacked him after knowing that he was having an affair with Junich’s wife and business partner Chris (Bridget Fonda). However, Chris gives a different version of the murder. The police tries reasoning through it but trying to put all pieces together becomes more difficult when Mikey (Gabriel Damon) comes along.
