A Modern, Functional Family... Engaged In Psychological Warfare. The Harpers are back, and their attempts at domestic bliss have hardly improved. Ben (Robert Lindsay) is still at a loss since his dental assistant quit, and is even entertaining the thought of hiring Nick. Home life hasn't helped ease his nerves: Susan (Zoë Wanamaker) suspects that she's pregnant, Janey wants to throw a house party, and Michael is upset that his father doesn't have a more interesting profession. Things seem to look up when a new client shows up and promises to send business to Ben's office, at least until a box of raw meat lands on the Harpers' doorstep in the dead of night.
