“The Breed” sees a not too distant future as the backdrop of this horrific murder mystery. In the future, vampires have come out of the closet and live among humans. They have been given rights as a peaceful breed. When a series of murders break out and threatens this supposed peace between species, a cop Steve Grant (Bokeem Woodbine) is assigned to work with a vampire Aaron Grey (Adrian Paul) to solve the case. Not liking one another right away, the two prove their worth on the case and quickly become amicable colleagues. Their investigation leads them to an arrest of a dark figure who tears the throats of his victims and then drains their blood but is he what he seems to be?
